Micro Ice's goal is to deliver skill development to all ages of players, from Mite to the Professional level. We strive to develop every skater’s full potential while keeping the focus on fun. Our philosophy is based on a player training in a reduced area at a high tempo with many repetitions to develop the desired skill. Skating at Micro Ice will enrich a player’s creativity, puck control and teach them to “read and react” in a game like situation. Our instructors will make a difference in your skill development, they are highly experienced, dedicated and truly want the Micro Ice experience to make a difference in your hockey skill development.

On-Ice Training w/ Micro Ice Staff

Kim Brandvold leads the on-ice instruction with his extensive skills set, Division One and professional hockey experience. In addition, Micro Ice has teamed up with some of the most recognized hockey trainers in the country, including legendary skills instructor Paul Vincent and Dynamic Skating's John McLean. Along with Mr. Vincent and Mr. McLean, Micro Ice harbors some of the best young trainers in the area, including professional hockey player Mark Pandolfo and former Boston College Eagle Lee-J Mirasolo.

Off-Ice Training w/ Mike Boyle

Mike Boyle is one of the foremost experts in the field of Strength and Conditioning, Functional Training and general fitness. Micro Ice has partnered with Mike Boyle Strength & Conditioning under the same roof in order to offer elite off-ice training and on-ice training in one location.

Goalie Training w/ Puckstoppers and Bob Rotondo

Bob Rotondo's state of the art goalie room and specialized video equipment has proven very effective for teaching proper technique and ensuring great development for every goaltender. Bob's experience as a goalie goes back to his playing days at Providence College.

Learn-to-Skate w/ Erika Hammar

Erika Hammar has competed and been a top instructor at the highest level of figure skating over the past two decades. Erika will head Micro Ice's Learn-to-Skate and figure skating programs at our North Andover location.
